Bacon Ranch Chicken Subs

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love a great recipe! To me, a great recipe is defined as, "A meal that is super quick, amazingly easy, low-maintenance, cheap, hopefully healthy, and of course yum-a-licious!" Tonight, I have such a recipe for you (minus the healthy part-ha!) BACON RANCH CHICKEN SUBS are the way to go if you want the toasted sub shop taste without paying the toasted sub shop price.

Here's what you'll need:
Wheat Hoagie rolls
Pre-cooked, microwaveable bacon
Pre-cooked chicken (the kind you use in salads or wraps)
Shredded cheese (any variety)
Ranch dressing
Lettuce (optional)
Tomatoes (optional)

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Cook your bacon according to the package directions(mine took all of 20 seconds). On a baking sheet, split open the hoagie buns and put bacon, chicken, and cheese on the bottom half. Toast in oven for 10 minutes. Remove from oven, spread top half with ranch dressing and close. Eat and enjoy!

There you go.  It's that easy! Beyond being ridiculously simple, this sandwich is a favorite of mine because it is so versatile. By just changing the cheese or dressing (spread) you can create a whole new sandwich! So go ahead! Take this recipe for a test drive then come back to tell me about the ride! :-)

P.S.- Sorry this post is pictureless. Still having some technical issues with my camera.
