Bucket Night

Mmmmm.....buckety.

The other night Eric and I had our first offical "Bucket Night." Fully escaping humility, I have to say this was one of our best ideas. EVER. I have big plans for "Bucket Night." Just you wait and see! This is going to catch on. What is "Bucket Night" you ask???
According to the Dictionary of Anna, it is defined as, "An evening where all food is brought in buckets and is consumed while sharing ones bucket list with friends and family."
Of course fried chicken was the main food of the evening and it was oh so delicious! And then the sharing began. It was so fun to sit with my honey and share our dreams together! It definitely brought us to a whole new level of closeness. It was one of those nights where you have that warm, fuzzy feeling deep inside and you end up going to bed with a huge smile on your face dreaming of where life will take you.
I don't know about you but I have a lot of things I want to accomplish before I'm gone from this earth. Of course I want to be the best person I can possibly be for my Lord, my family, and myself but this list is apart from that. A few things being (but most certainly not limited to)....
*Re-do our home BIG time! And/or find our dream home and make it fabulous!
*Learn how to play the play the piano and violin.
*Learn three other languages (Spanish, Italian, and French)-And I mean learn. I want to be fluent. Not just know a few words here and there.
*Learn how to sew because..well...I just can't. I'm pretty bad but that is a story for another day.
*Go white water rafting
*Do INSANE amounts of traveling (Prague, Italy, England, Ireland, Germany, Greece, Brazil, Africa, NYC, etc.)
*To FINALLY become certified in ASL and make a side career out of it. This is a big one!
*Ride horses on the beach
*Memorize the whole Bible.....that's going to be hard. Maybe I should just stick to memorizing the Psalms?
*See a Broadway show in NYC
*Go the Jane Austen festival in England...yeah, I'm cool like that.
*Go to the airport and take the next departing flight out. It doesn't matter where it is. I want to be completely spontaneous like that!
*Do some acting in community theater.
*Go on a missions trip

And the list just goes on and on....of course as I type my mind draws a blank.I have so many big dreams! Big things I want to do! I'm really looking forward to trying and seeing where this journey of life takes me.

These are definitely not my only dreams but they are a few that I'd like to say, "Yeah, I've done that!". What about you? What are some items on your bucket list? :-)
